Indian farmers are eagerly waiting for the 14th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana, which provides them with a yearly amount of 6,000 rupees. The money is handed out in three installments of 2,000 rupees each. Although there has been no official announcement as to when the 14th installment will be released, it is estimated that it may be sent to farmers’ accounts before June 10.
However, there are also farmers who have not yet received the 13th installment of the Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers are required to complete the e-KYC process to avail the benefits. Failure to do so may result in them missing out on the installment. An estimated 3 crore farmers may miss out.
To complete the e-KYC process, farmers can visit their nearest CSC or PM Kisan portal. They will need their Aadhaar card and a registered mobile number. A fee of 17 rupees is charged at CSC centers for the process. If successful, they will receive an OTP on their registered number, which they can use to complete the process.
It is essential for farmers to have their Aadhaar card, bank account, passport-size photo, income certificate, land documents, and residence proof to avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana. It is also important to check the status of the application. Those who haven’t applied yet are advised to do so, while those who have should check their status regularly.
