Financial assistance for farmers to start a business
Farmers receive 15 lakh rupees under the FPO scheme. This scheme provides financial assistance to farmers to engage in new agricultural businesses. To avail this scheme, a group of 11 farmers needs to form an organization. It will provide assistance to farmers in purchasing agricultural tools, fertilizers, seeds, and medicines. Under the government scheme, only Farmers Producer Organizations will receive 15 lakh rupees.
Application process
First, visit the official website of the National Agricultural Market. On the homepage, you will find the option for FPO, click on it. Click on the registration form and fill in all the required information. After that, scan and upload the canceled check and ID proof. Submit the form.

Login process
Go to the official website of the National Agricultural Market. Click on FPO. The login form will appear. Enter your username, password, and captcha code, then log in.
Government’s target
The government has set a target of establishing 10,000 FPOs by the year 2023-24. The government aims to strengthen farmers financially and increase their productivity. The government is taking significant steps in that direction.
