Indian Railways is a popular mode of long-distance travel in India due to its safety and comfort. However, passengers must be aware of the rules to ensure a hassle-free journey. Sleeping time in trains is between 10 pm to 6 am, and passengers must not disturb others with loud music or conversations during this time. TTE will not check tickets between these hours, except for those starting their journey during this time. Passengers who have missed purchasing a train ticket can still board the train with a platform ticket and purchase their train ticket from the TTE. According to the Indian Railways Luggage Rules, passengers can carry up to 40-70 kg of luggage during their journey. Excess luggage will incur additional charges.
