Step 1: Open the Command Prompt on your Windows computer. You can use the Windows + R shortcut if you prefer.
Step 2: Once the search bar is open, type “CMD” and press Enter.
Step 3: The Command Prompt window will open. Now, you need to type “netsh wlan show profile” or copy and paste the command into the window.
Step 4: As soon as you enter this command, all the names of the WiFi networks your computer is connected to will be displayed.
Step 5: In the Command Prompt, type “NETSH WLAN SHOW PROFILE ABC KEY=CLEAR”. Here, replace “ABC” with the name of the WiFi network for which you want to retrieve the password.
Step 6: Once you enter this command, various details will appear on your computer screen, and you will find your WiFi password displayed next to the “Key” field. This way, you can find your WiFi password on a Windows computer.

Method to Find WiFi Password on a Mobile Phone
Finding the WiFi password on a mobile phone is also very easy. Follow the steps below
Step 1: Go to the settings of your phone.
Step 2: Select the “Connections” option.
Step 3: From the options displayed, choose “WiFi.”
Step 4: Upon clicking on WiFi, you will see all the available WiFi networks. To find the password of the connected WiFi network, tap on it.
Step 5: In the WiFi settings, you will find options like “Share WiFi” or a QR code symbol on many phones. Click on that. Underneath the QR code, you will find the WiFi password.
Step 6: In phones like Samsung and Xiaomi, the WiFi password can be obtained by scanning the QR code using Google Lens. If you scan it with Google Lens, the WiFi password will be displayed below.
